What to expect DURING your session…

Your family session is meant to feel fun, easy, and completely true to you. I focus on the real moments—the giggles, the twirls, the quiet cuddles—because those are the memories that last.

I photograph families all across Northern Utah, including Weber County, Davis County, Salt Lake City, Utah County, and Tooele County. Whether we’re exploring the mountains, chasing light by the Great Salt Lake, wandering through the canyons, or playing in your own backyard, every session is designed to capture your family as you really are.

When we meet at our location, we’ll start slow so everyone can get comfortable. I guide with simple prompts—walk together, toss your kid in the air, tell a silly joke—but nothing ever feels stiff. Kids are encouraged to play, explore, and move because the best photos happen when your family is having fun.

By the end, you’ll forget we were even taking photos, and you’ll leave with a gallery of cinematic, storytelling images that make your family feel like art.

What to expect AFTER your session…

After our session, the excitement doesn’t have to wait. Within 1 to 3 days, you’ll receive a few sneak peek images to relive the magic and share with your family and friends.

Your full gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks, as outlined in your contract. I take pride in giving every session the time and care it deserves. While many photographers rely on AI to batch-edit images, I personally hand-edit every photo. A typical session can start with 2,000–3,000 images, and I carefully hand-select the best moments to ensure your gallery tells a genuine story.

I keep my edits natural and timeless, enhancing the beauty of your family and the landscape while removing distractions—never over-editing or creating an artificial look.

  • A documentary-style session focuses on real moments instead of stiff poses. I guide you just enough to keep things relaxed, but most of the time, I capture your family interacting naturally—laughing, playing, or snuggling. The result is authentic storytelling photos that feel like your family’s real life in beautiful Utah landscapes.

  • Absolutely! I love photographing extended family sessions, whether it’s grandparents, cousins, or the whole crew. My standard sessions include up to 6 family members, and additional family members can be added for a small fee so we can make sure everyone gets in the frame.

  • I deliver all the best edited images from your session, typically around 40–60 photos for a standard hour session. I don’t hold back the good ones, so you’ll have a full gallery to choose from for prints, albums, or wall art.

  • Yes! I love in-home lifestyle sessions because they capture your family in your natural element. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, playing in the backyard, or baking cookies together, these sessions create warm, intimate storytelling photos that are unique to your home and family.

  • Your gallery is typically ready within 4–6 weeks, depending on the season and my editing schedule. I’ll send you an online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints or wall art to make your memories last.
